S.R. Wild is an artist and graphic designer living in the scenic Old North End of Burlington, VT. He spends most of his time making art and working on various design projects. The rest of his time is spent wandering around looking for trash to use in his creations; blogging about observations, thoughts, experiments, mundane events, obsessive interests, and other goings-on in his life and mind; reading about art, graphic design, and typography; watching old movies; occasionally sleeping; and writing really long sentences that would make James Joyce jealous. All of this (except for sleeping) is usually accompanied by a nice cup of French pressed coffee out of his favorite mug, a Constructivist “Better Coffee for Better Workers” mug. He likes receiving email, but absolutely adores receiving analog mail. One last thing, writing in the third person makes him gag almost as much as mayonnaise does.
“I have seen the future of graphic design and his name is S.R. Wild… er… uh… OK, I really haven’t seen the future of graphic design, but I have seen S.R. Wild and if I had seen the future of graphic design I’m sure it would look a lot like S.R. Wild… or at least something like S.R. Wild.” —W. David Powell
